Just code ‘n pixels
Welcome to my humble website. I am just a physicist working as a software engineer in the research industry. I am skilled in PHP, Java, .NET, JS, Angular, WordPress & IoT and mostly anything else… That wide list of technologies comes as a result of the different requirements which had to be met in the various European or national projects. Therefore, after more than 20 years of coding, graphics designing, multimedia editing (image, video, d.t.p.,…), many websites, applications, project reviews, conferences and training others it all comes down to two things… code and pixels!
At this site I expose my works, some of my “achievements”, I comment on the news and I share my views with you on matters that trouble me more or less. Thank you for following me and keep in touch with me. Be well, my friends…
Through studying UX design guidelines, careful observation of market solutions, interaction and fulfillment of customer requirements, I am now capable of designing User Interfaces that do the job right while they look nice.
Whatever the platform is, either web, either native or mobile I can deliver an intuitive interface.
I started designing diagrams for publications of the Cretan University Press, and then I moved forward in teaching experts on how to use image editing and DTP tools like Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, Quark Xpress, etc… In the process, I started designing logos, websites, leaflets, brochures, posters and many more, successfully adopting a brand identity in every project that could support it.
Working in a research facility for 10+ years has, as a result, the gain of the ability to grasp the little things, the ones that lead the ideas in paths of creative thinking!
CSS, SCSS, Bootstrap, Foundation, Material Design, Java Swing, PrimeFaces, Semantic UI…
different css framework!
Once a member of EFEK (which is the Greek Photography Company of Crete) I love photography as an art and as a way to view things.
